Jonathan Berte first experimented with vision and artificial intelligence in 2009 and continued to amass expertise in applied physics and image processing.

 

In 2014, he founded Robovision, a leading AI solution provider that combines robotics with machine vision, eventually launching its companion deep learning platform, RVAI. The resulting Robovision AI suite has been deployed in over 1,000 commercial applications across sectors ranging from agriculture, manufacturing, retail and health care.

 

Aside from Robovision, where he also serves as Chairman of the Board, Jonathan is a frequent guest lecturer at the London School of Economics, Vlerick Business School, and Ghent University. He shares insight on AI and related topics both through a biweekly column in De Tijd (Belgium's financial newspaper) and as a regular event speaker all over the world. He enjoys educating audiences on the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, machine vision, and robotics.
